MAHOTTARI: The United Democratic Madhesi Front said they would close all the private and public schools in Mahottari district for three days.

The UDMF closed all the schools till Wednesday to protest the police attack on Chairman of the Sadbhavana Party, Rajendra Mahato, in Jogbani of Morang on Saturday.

A press release issued by the UDMF states that the decision to close the schools was taken as security of the children has become the main challenge.

The UDMF cadres have also closed markets in Gaushala, Aurahi, Ramgopalpur as well as the open weekly markets in rural areas for an indefinite period.
