Madhesi Tigers ‘pressing’ traders for cash

Cadres of the Madhesi Tigers’ (MT) are allegedly seeking donations from businessmen.
The businessmen claimed that cadres of the Madhesi tigers are seeking donation ranging from Rs 25,000 to Rs 5 lakh from over 300 industries located in the Sunsari-Morang corridor.
The cadres of the Madhesi Tigers, saying that they need funds for the freedom of the Madhes region and Madhesi people, have sent letters to each industry and warned of destroying the industries by planting bombs if donation was not given to them.
“The MT cadres have demanded Rs 3 lakh in donation,” administrative chief of a Duhabi-based biscuit factory said.
