GAUSHALA: Police in Mahottari district have recently arrested a person on charge of operating a call bypass centre.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Ajamat (31) of Jaleshwar Municipality-5 in the district.

According to the District Police Office, Mahottari, Ajamat was involved in call bypass by running a call centre for the past one and half months.

Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamsal said that different equipments used for call bypass including router, microwave antenna UPS, power board, two mobile sets and two speakers, recharge cards, among others were seized from the call centre.

Investigation into the incident was underway keeping Ajamat under custody at the District Police Office.
