HETAUNDA: An octogenarian man died after being swept away by the Raptikhola stream in Hetaunda of Makawanpur on Saturday.

Krishna Thapa (80) from Namtar VDC-6 of the district had fallen into the stream while crossing it this morning.

Police said the elderly man was heading to Bhainse VDC from Hetaunda.

His body was recovered around 100 metres downstream.
