It's distressing to see people unable to venture out of their homes to show their talents out of fear. Instead of giving them an opportunity to perform on stage, should people with talent be held at home? I myself don't suggest my loved ones to join any beauty pageant or talent audition for now. Sometimes they are not safe even at school.
The concerned governmental body should put an eye on girl safety. Also parents should be responsible for overseeing how their children dress, where they go, who their friends are and how they behave with strangers. Someone might ask, isn't this against freedom? I would say, there is less chance to be bitten by a snake unless you interfere with it.
Also, what about cultural responsibility? Why are girls performing vulgar in the social media? Why is there craze for senseless TV programmes? We don't belong to a Western society.
Let me remind all men that a woman is a creator, a mother. Help her, encourage her, motivate her, love her. I believe sex is natural, and is a process to reproduce another being. But, we are humans, we have sense, we have morals. It's not like other animals for whom sex is simply between two genders. We human beings don't have sex with anyone or whenever one pleases. There has to be a mutual agreement, a bond, which creates joy and doesn't harm one another, mentally or physically.
In a certain age group (roughly 15-60), human beings are curious, thirsting for sex. Some find a mate, or get married early, or buy sex. Those who can't make these have only two choices – to control their emotions and master their mind or allow their emotions to go loose and attempt sex forcibly.
We lack sex education and have a misconception as well. They say pornographic content is the reason for rape-related crimes. No, it's the mindset of the people and the lack of options that lead to crime.
I challenge the authorities to study the statistics on such criminal activities after imposing a ban on pornographic content. Did it really work? No. I say, the ban on pornographic content on the Internet should be removed. Additionally, they should ease the sale of sex toys so that people can help themselves out.
It's strange that the norms in our nation don't even allow couples to spend their private time with mutual agreement in a hotel room unless they are married. Let sex be free and rape be costly. I would like to appeal for a 'hang to death' penalty for a rapist. The same should go for other crimes like acid attacks, resulting to serious injury or disability.
