Man arrested for swindling local youths

Police have begun investigation against Ram Kripal Raya Yadav, 22, of Pipara Pokhariya VDC of Rautahat, for his involvement in swindling local youths.
A police team deployed from Garuda Area Police Office had arrested Yadav from Mathur Chowk of Garuda Municipality for tricking local youths by promising them jobs in different mobile companies of India on Saturday night.
Yadav had taken a huge amount of money from youths saying that India-based Reliance and Vodafone companies had announced vacancies for Nepali youths.
Inspector Shantulal Jayaswal, of the APO, said the district court had extended Yadav’s remand yesterday and he was detained at the APO.
Inspector Jayaswal said Yadav had posted various vacancy advertisements of the telecom companies in village areas of the municipality. The posters read out that the companies would employ Nepali youths even if they were illiterate.
Yadav had lured the youths by saying that the companies also offered accommodation, medical facility, and bonus, among others, to Nepali youths.
Pawan Kumar Ram of Ramauli Bairiya VDC, had filed an FIR at the APO upon finding out that he had fallen victim to trickery.
Police confiscated a motorcycle without a number plate, a laptop, different documents, forms, Rs 14,000 cash and a mobile set, among other items, from Yadav.
