Man crushed to death

Pyuthan, February 13:

One Kedar Singh BK, 34, was crushed by a huge stone while working for construction of the Bhaluwang-Pyuthan sub Highway, on Monday afternoon.

He was killed when a big stone hit and he fell down from a big hill, said Ramesh Shrestha, Social Mobiliser coordinator of Rural Access Programme (RAP). Kedar Singh BK’s body was taken to Pyuthan Hospital for post-mortem, it was said.

The road section was being constructed by the RAP under the support of the British government and the workers there are entitled to life insurance of Rs 100,000, it was said today.
