BHOJPUR: A man was electrocuted while fishing ashore the Budhi Khola of Itahari on Sunday.

The Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, said the deceased has been identified as Hemraj Paswan (30) of Pipalchok, Itahari-5.

Paswan was fishing, near his house, using electricity when he received the shock and died on the spot, police added.

A team deployed from the Area Police Office, Itahari, has already started its preliminary investigation into the case.
