POKHARA: A youth from Bhimsen Rural Municipality-6 in Gorkha died after being electrocuted, on Wednesday night.

23-year-old Yam Bahadur Surkheti lost his life in an attempt to help his neighbours who had faced power outage. Surkheti had climbed an electricity pole to fix the wires and was critically injured.

Although Surkheti was rushed to a primary health centre, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, police said.
