JAJARKOT: A 51-year-old man was found dead in Banskoti, Triveni Nalagad Municipality-3, of Jajarkot district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Aiwan Thapa.

Thapa had gone to bed at around 9:00 pm yesterday after having meal. He was found dead the next morning, according to a relative of the deceased, Krishna Thapa.

The relatives of Thapa doubted whether the death was caused by the moonshine which he had drunk in the nearby public house last night.

Although police had insisted on sending the body of the deceased for postmortem, the relatives cremated the body without their consent, relative Thapa said.
