PANCHTHAR: A man identified as Nara Bahadur Chemjong of Falgunanda Rural Municipality in Panchthar district struck his wife to death with a khukuri.

According to police, the accused, Nara Bahadur (45) slashed his wife Indra Maya’s neck on Tuesday night. His second wife was also involved in the murder.

Following the incident, Nara Bahadur fled the scene and was intercepted by the police at Fakfokthum in Ilam district.
