KATHMANDU: A man died after he was hit by an unidentified vehicle in Buddhabhumi Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu district on Sunday night.

The deceased who appears to be in his mid-40s is yet to be identified.

According to police, the unidentified man was walking along the road when the vehicle hit him in Champapur at 12:00 yesterday, killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is underway and search is on for the vehicle which fled the scene, informed Area Police Office, Gorusinghe.
