KATHMANDU, JULY 11

A Manang Air helicopter has been reported missing during its journey from Solukhumbu to Kathmandu. The aircraft with registration number 9N-AMV lost contact with the control tower shortly after 10 am this morning.

According to initial reports, the helicopter was carrying a total of six individuals, including the pilot, at the time of its disappearance. It was piloted by senior captain Chet Gurung, a source at Tia said.

Authorities are urgently working to reestablish communication with the aircraft, and efforts to locate the helicopter are already underway.
