The acting chairman of the Nepali Congress (Democratic), Gopal Man Singh, has lauded the role played by woman leader Mangala Devi Singh in the movement for women’s rights. He was speaking at a programme organised today to mark the ninth death anniversary of the woman leader. Mina Pandey, a leader of the Nepal Mahila Sangh, said the party should honour Mangala Devi by making bold decisions on the issue of representation of women in the parliament.
