POKHARA: The Manipal Teaching hospital in Pokhara shut down today after kin of patients attacked a doctor early morning. The attack occurred after the kin of patient Anusha Subba who was being treated in ICU went missing late Sunday night. Kin of Subba blamed the hospital administration for her disappearance and attacked Dr Subhash Sapkota on Monday morning. After the attack the OPD section was shut down by the staff demanding security. Subba had been undergoing treatment at the hospital in a private cabin for the last few days. Subba was later in the morning found in the hospital itself, our correspondent reports from Pokhara.
