Maoist office set up in captured home

Lamjung, June 20 :

Maoists captured a house belonging to Hemjung Gurung, central member of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party led by Kamal Thapa, in Beshisahar of Lamjung district on Tuesday and set up an office of the All Nepal National Independent Students’ Union- Revolutionary (ANNISU-R) there. Shiva Adhikari, district chairman of Lamjung ANNISU-R, said they did not destroy Gurung’s house because of the country’s changed political situation and said the action was taken because Gurung is a supporter of the King.

He said: “He is one of the leaders blacklisted by the political parties and the Maoists will also punish him.”
