Maoists bomb Dailekh jail
SURKHET: A group of suspected Maoists on Wednesday night detonated a pressure cooker bomb at the Dailekh district jail completely damaging the two storey building. No human casualty was reported because the jail was empty during the blast. The security forces used to guard the building at the day time whereas during the night all the inmates there used to be shifted to the Royal Nepalese Army barrack fearing Maoist attacks, a source close to the security forces said. On Tuesday, Maoists had bombed three transmiters of Nepal Electricity Authority. — HNS
