Maoists for restructuring state: Mahara

Kathmandu, January 18:

Leader of the CPN-Maoist Parliamentary Party Krishna Bahadur Mahara today said the party’s lawmakers will use the interim legislature to restructure the state.

Addressing a programme organised by the party’s Valley Special Bureau to felicitate the lawmakers, Mahara said, “Nobody can stop us from making a New Nepal. We will use the interim legislature for our purpose. Those who stand for the status-quo will be defeated.”

Mahara also criticised factions of the political parties, who burnt the copies of the interim constitution. He said they were only trying to delay constituent assembly elections.
