Lamjung, June 18 :

The Maoists held an interaction with all the chiefs of government offices in Besisahar today.

Speaking at the interaction, chief of Lamjung-Manang peoples’ government, Buddhiram Tamu, said the government officials have to work for the welfare of people in the changed political scenario in the country.

He said the Maoists are observing the activities of government officials to know whether their services was people-oriented or not.

He said the chiefs of government offices should observe, supervise and investigate the activities of the officials under them, adding that government projects that would be launched in the district should be initiated after holding discussions and taking the suggestions of the Maoists.

The chiefs of government offices informed briefly about the activities of the works of their respective offices to the Maoists.
