Maoists shot dead two security persons and injured two others at Main Chowk of Damauli Bazaar today. The spot is 100m from the District Police Office.

Head constable Nawaraj Badu and constable Khim Bahadur Adhikari died on way to Damauli Hospital. Constables Rudra Malla and Ramesh Rokka are in Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara.

On Thursday, two Maoists were killed in operations at Rajabas of Kavrepalanchowk district.

Tej Ojha, a bus driver heading to Kathmandu from Kakarvitta died removing roadblocks set up by Maoists at Bakaiya of Rautahat on Thursday. A Maoist commander Ram Pravesh Saha was killed by forces in Bhasedhawa of Rautahat yesterday.
