Maoists release abductee
Bara, November 16:
Maoists today released one of the two persons whom they had seized from Dumarwana on November 5.
Kanhailal Shah, a resident of Inarwasira, was released in Dumarwana in the presence of human rights activists, journalists and locals. Though the other person Ramjeet Paswan was brought along with Shah to Dumarwana, the Maoists did not release him. The Maoists said they arrested Paswan for his involvement in several kidnap cases and dacoity incidents, adding that he had also posed as a commander of the Maoists. They said that they arrested Shah for carrying a countrymade pistol to help Paswan.
