SARLAHI:

Maoists on Monday released seven persons, including village committee chairperson of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party (Belahi) Manroop Raya. They were released in the presence of journalists at Benibhola Secondary School in Godaita. Others set free are: Ram Prawash Raya, his father Ram Preet Raya, Bindeshwor Raya, Arun Kumar Raya, Umesh Yadav and Sanjaya Kumar Raya.All the abductees had sustained injuries, said District Committee chairperson of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants Party (Sarlahi), Govinda Mahat.
