Maoists split on talks: Janamorcha

A dispute is raging between leaders of the Maoist party on whether they should hold talks with the government, according to a leader of the Janmorcha Nepal. Addressing a programme organised to expose Maoist atrocities against Janmorcha cadres in Bhairahawa today, member of the central secretariat of the Janmorcha Nepal Dilliram Acharya said Maoist leaders are divided over the issue of holding peace talks.

Acharya said the Maoists should be forced into a dialogue with the government. He added that the government should take advantage of the conflict within the Maoist leadership.
