Maoists to stop donation drive
Palpa, May 27 :
Maoist leader and western army deputy commander, Pravakar, said Maoists would stop collecting donation if it will aid constituent assembly poll and the peace process.
Addressing an assembly in Tansen today, Pravakar said, “We will not collect donation if it creates problems in the process of constituent assembly and peace.” He said the CPN-Maoist, respecting the sentiments of peoples’ movement and wishes, wants to give a peaceful outlet to the crisis and guide the nation towards the path of development and progress.
He said Maoists are not joining the peaceful path by losing the peoples’ war but because they were following the people’s wishes.
Maoist leader Pampha Bhusal said changing the name of army would not solve the problem. There should not be any delay to form an interim government with the involvement of Maoists, Bhusal said.
Vice chairperson of ANNISU-R Ramdeep Atreya, ANWA-R member Sushila Simkhada, in-charge of teachers’ association Gandak region Bheshraj Bhusal addressed the function.
