Maoists won’t go to jungle: Badal

Lekhnath, June 3 :

CPN-UML standing committee member, Keshav Badal, claimed that Maoists would not return to the jungle again.

“Because the Maoists have come for a peaceful political process, they will not return to the jungle and it is not possible,” Badal said while addressing the fourth annual general meeting of the Mardi Khola Nepal Educational Foundation, Kaski, today.

“Returning to the jungle by abandoning the peaceful politics would not be productive to the Maoists given the national and the international situation,” he said.

Maoists are warning of taking up arms again to press for fulfiling their demands, he said. “Maoists are trying to take the credit of the Jana Andolan,” he said, adding that loktantric process should be practiced in educational sector to produce skilled manpower in the country.
