Market monitoring intensified
Dhankuta, October 14
Market monitoring was made more robust after locals complained that date-expired food items being were being sold ahead of the festivals in Dhankuta.
A market monitoring team led by Dhankuta Municipality inspected 11 grocery shops, five clothing stores, four meat shops and two hotels yesterday and today.
The team seized rotten fish worth Rs 30,000 and other date-expired materials worth Rs 50,000 and destroyed them on the premises of the municipality today.
