Marsyangdi-Kathmandu transmission line in final stage
GORKHA: The construction of 230-KV Marsyangdi-Kathmandu transmission line has come to its final stage. Almost 90 percent works along the 33-kilometre transmission line has so far been completed.
Construction of the transmission line had started around two-and-a-half years ago. The task of installing high-tension towers along the area towards Gorkha is close to completion, shared project engineer Sitaram Adhikari.
He clarified that the tower installation had come to a final stage in Gandaki Rural Municipality, Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality and Gorkha Municipality of Gorkha district which come under the transmission line.
