BHOJPUR: A man succumbed to injuries that he received in an attack with an axe in Nepaldanda-3 of Bhojpur district on Tuesday.

According to Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, Tham Bahadur Shrestha of Bharaula in Sunsari district, who had been to the area to work as a mason, was killed by his own friend Bhim Bahadur Giri.

They both had come from the Sunsari district to construct a house of Narayan Kathet, informed police.

Police arrested the absconding suspect from Bhedetar of Dhankuta district.
