SYANJA: Chairman of CPN-Maoist Matrika Prasad Yadav on Sunday blamed the Unified CPN-Maoist of using the High Level Peace Mechanism as a means to grab ruling power.

He blamed UCPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ of being restless in his hunger for power.

Talking to journalists in Syanja this morning, Yadav said, “UCPN-Maoist chairman Prachanda who is restless due to power hunger is trying to use the HLPM as a means of grabbing the ruling power.”

Yadav accused the UCPNM of digressing from the revolutionary track.

Yadav was in Syanja in the course of the extension of the party organisation. The party has formed a nine member district working committee under the coordination of Bhim Prasad Chapagain.
