KATHMANDU, JUNE 25

MAW Vriddhi, the authorized importer of electric vehicle brands Deepal, Nammi and Seres in Nepal, has inaugurated a new electric vehicle (EV) workshop in Balkumari, Lalitpur.

The facility was jointly inaugurated by MAW Group Chairperson Shanti Devi Agarwal, MAW Vriddhi Chairman Vishnu Kumar Agarwal, Dongfeng Motors South Asia Sales Director He Zixin, Regional Service Manager Li Xinchun and MAW Vriddhi Managing Director Vivek Sikaria.

According to the company, the workshop is designed to provide comprehensive after-sales support for EV owners and strengthen service infrastructure amid the growing adoption of electric vehicles in Nepal.

Spread across 15,000 square feet, the facility features nine service bays and 24 certified EV technicians, enabling it to service up to 36 vehicles per day. It is equipped with an advanced battery diagnostic system, spare parts inventory, a technician training room and a customer lounge.

The service center will also offer value-added services within the Kathmandu Valley, including vehicle pick-up and drop-off, fast-track servicing, 24-hour breakdown assistance and a dedicated service hotline.

MAW Vriddhi said the new workshop reflects its commitment to enhancing customer experience and supporting Nepal's transition towards electric mobility.
