KASKI: A 21-year-old girl has gone missing while returning from a trekking in Pokhara on Thursday.

Bipana Upreti, along with her five other friends, had gone to trek Mt Mardi on Thursday.

According to police, she fell off some 150 metres while returning from Deurali in Machchhapuchre Rural Municipality-9 in the district, also the lower view point of the mountain, and went missing.

Upreti is an MBBS third year student at Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara.

Meanwhile, police have intensified a search operation and looking into the case.
