Birgunj: Agitating workers of the Jyoti Spinning Mills shut all factories belonging to the Jyoti group in Parsa district on Thursday. Protesting the decision of the factory management to liquidate the mill, the workers’ struggle committee had launched a phasewise agitation from yesterday. The workers have closed the eight industries, including Jyoti Wire, Himal Oxygen and Himal Iron. Demanding that the liquidation process be stopped, the workers stated a chakkajam in Birgunj-Pathlaiya road on Thursday.
