Kathmandu, May 29:

Local Development minister Rajendra Pandey today assured the Rural Development graduates of employment in local government bodies.

Speaking at a talk programme on “Post Conflict: Rural Development Programme and Policies”, he said, “The local bodies should make development plans and see to their implementation.” Lecturers of Rural Development demanded a separate department for their subject, but Pandey rejected the proposal.
