Minister Pandey accuses NC of not helping govt to solve crisis

HETAUNDA: A member of the Cabinet on Wednesday accused the main opposition party Nepali Congress of not cooperating with the government to lift the blockade imposed at the Indo-Nepal border points.

Some leaders of the party are trying to run away from their responsibilities, Minister for Industry Som Prasad Pandey said at a function in Hetaunda today.

"The Nepali Congress has extended its mute support to the Tarai protests and the blockade," the Minister said.

The current crisis the nation is facing is getting more complicated due to the NC, Pandey added.

Meanwhile, the CPN-UML leader added that the government is working hard to resolve the crisis at the earliest.

Few leaders of the NC are trying to topple the current KP Sharma Oli-led government, according to Pandey.
