KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development on Wednesday issued a communiqué directing the representatives of the local-level government to submit their property details within seven days.

"The Ministry has urged all the people's representatives to submit their property details as per the Corruption Prevention Act, 2059 BS and Local Government Operation Act, 2074 BS," Rudra Singh Tamang, Spokesperson at the Ministry informed.

The Ministry said it would initiate the process to take action if the representatives fail to send their property details within seven days.
