BARA: A one-year-old girl lost her life and 10 others sustained injuries in a road accident at Tribhuvan Highway on Saturday.

The Tata-Sumo jeep (Na 1 Ja 2881) en route to Kathmandu from Simara rammed into a parked truck (Lu 2 Kha 496) killing Sanjana Tamang of Kavre and injuring other 10 persons including her family members.

Tamang’s father, 27-year-old Sujan Tamang and brother 8-year-old, Sajan Tamang who sustained critical injuries are undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital in Birgunj. Meanwhile, two of other seriously injured have been referred to Kathmandu.
