PARSA: A child was killed and his grandmother was injured in a road accident in Parwanipur along the Birgunj-Pathlaiya road section this afternoon, police said.

The deceased has been identified as a three-year-old Arman Khatiwada of Birgunj Sub-metropolitan City-15 of Parsa district.

The accident took place when an India-registered tanker (NL 01 L 7316) hit the child. The child was crossing the road with his grandmother Sushila Khatiwada when the accident occurred.
