HETAUNDA: A 13-year-old boy who was reported missing on Monday was found dead along the bank of Rapti River here in Hetaunda.

According to Makawanpur District Police Office, Bijaya Bartaula of Chaukitole in Hetauda-1 had gone to swim in the Rapti River after finishing his school yesterday.

Police personnel found his body from the river bank on Tuesday morning.

Bartaula was an eight grader at the local Bhutandevi Higher Secondary School, according to police.

Bam Dev Gautam informed that Bartaula's body was handed over to his kin after autopsy.
