SUNSARI: An 11-year-old girl, who had gone missing two days ago, was found dead in Chadwela VDC of Sunsari on Saturday.

A police team launched a search for local resident Amita Kumari Modiyari, daughter of Rampukar Modiyari, following the filing of a report by the victim's family.

Modiyari, who had gone to attend neighbour's wedding ceremony on Thursday night, did not return home.

The body of Modiyari was found in a concrete pipe around 300 metres south from her house today, according to police.

Police suspect she might have been killed.

Meanwhile, the investigation is going on, police informed.
