POKHARA: A man who had gone missing after he jumped into Daraudi River a week ago has been found dead.

Thirty-five-year old Sitaram Kunwar of Siranchok Rural Municipality in Gorkha had jumped into the river while en route to his home from Khaireni Taar in Tanahun.

Law enforcement officers recovered Kunwar’s body from the river bank below a suspension bridge at Simal Gaire in Gorkha, according to Gandaki State Police Office.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
