NEPALGUNJ: Banke chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF), Hira Lal Loniya, quit the party today.

“I announce my resignation as a general member of the party since the MJF is working against the sentiment of the Madhesi people and Madhes agitation,” Loniya said.

Issuing a press statement, Loniya accused the MJF of not allowing intra-party democracy.

He also said the party had failed to provide relief to the victims of arson, vandalism and loot that took place in Nepalgunj in December, 2007.
