MJF breathes fire over arrests
BIRATNAGAR: Madeshi Janaadhikar Forum on Thursday condemned the arrest of 15 of its protesters including their district chairman Tej Narayan Yadav during their mass protest.
Mahottari Armed Police arrested the cadres to resume the bandh called by the party.
Speaking to our correspondent over telephone Jaya Prakash Gupta, party’s national vice chairman said that organising a bandh and resuming it is purely a political matter and the involvement of the police and administration is unfair. Their involvement only creates an environment of violence between the protestors and administration.
He also warned that if the cadres were not released soon then there would be adverse consequences.
