PHIDIM: With the onset of monsoon, patients of fever and common cold increased in Panchthar district.

Dr Pawan Jung Rayamajhi of Panchthar Hospital said as many as 100 to 150 patients of fever and common cold visit the Hospital daily since last week.

He added that the Hospital was forced to keep patients on the floor after their number exceeded the health facility's capacity.

It has been learnt that the number of people affected from jaundice and diarrhoea also increased in the district.
