URLABARI, MORANG: A woman was killed in a lightning strike on Friday evening in Pathari Sanischare Municipality – 2 of Morang district.

The deceased has been identified as Amrita Baskota from the same locality.

Baskota was seriously injured after getting struck by the thunderbolt at her residence and died on the way to a hospital, said Inspector Rajan Karki at the Pathari-based Area Police Office.
