More police posts restored

Re-establishment of police posts is gaining momentum. Today, a Area Police Office (APO) and two police posts were re-established in Sunsari district. SP Yadav Raj Khanal of the Sunsari District Police Office (DPO) said a APO in Mahendranagar and two police posts at Singiya and Barahachhetra VDCs were re-established.

A report from Ramechhap said 11 of the 21 police posts have been established in the district. Police personnel of Sanghutar post have been sent to Sanghutar bazaar today. Similarly two police teams have been sent to Tokarpur APO and Gunsi police posts today.

In Sarlahi, 30 of the 38 police posts displaced from villages have been restored, said SP Madhav Raj Joshi. A report from Gaighat said three police posts were re-established in Udaypur district today. Seven policemen, under the command of SI will be posted in the police posts in Rupatar, Baseri and Basaha. Police teams reached in the respective posts this evening, said SP Mohan Khadka.

Rrocess of restoring displaced police posts has been intensified in Dhading district. Similarly, the VDC secretaries will also go to their respective offices by Thursday, said Dhading CDO (CDO) Ram Sharan Chimoriya.
