TAPLEJUNG: Police have arrested a woman of Rijal Chok in Fungling Municipality-5 on charges of fatally assaulting her minor daughter.

The arrestee, Puja Chemjong (32) inflicted serious injuries on her four-year-old daughter Manika Limbu after the latter annoyed her, police officials said. Limbu breathed her last in course of treatment at District Hospital in Ilam.
