RAUTAHAT: Agitating cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front set a motorbike on fire near Dashgaja area in Rautahat on Friday evening.

The motorbike belonging to Amrit Choudhary, an employee at Garuda branch of Forward Bank, was torched while he was on way to Rautahat after filling petrol from Bairganiya of India.

DSP Rajendra Pokhrel said investigation into the incident is under way.

Meanwhile, the front’s cadres seized 40 litres of diesel being imported by a farmer from India and vandalized his motorbike at Matsari VDC in Rautahat on Friday.
