DANG: A man died after he was hit by a motorcycle in Rapti Rural Municipality-1 of Dang district last night. The motorcyclist was also injured in the incident.

The deceased, who appeared to be in his 60s, is yet to be identified, informed Bhalubang-based Area Police Office. Likewise, police have identified the injured as local resident Kamal Adhikari (20).

The motorcycle (Lu 21 Pa 5348) hit the pedestrian, critically injuring him and the motorcyclist, at Pakhapani along the East-West Highway, at around 8:45 pm yesterday, the APO told THT.

The body of the deceased has been kept at Primary Health Centre, Lamahi, while injured Adhikari has been receiving treatment at Nepalgunj Medical College, said police.
