GULARIYA: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck in Gulariya of Bardiya district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Jhak Bahadur Chhetri.

The incident occurred when a truck (Bhe 1 Kha 5028) hit the motorcycle (Bhe 4 Pa 5984) Chhetri was riding at Syaule Bazaar of Badhaiyatal Rural Municipality-8 of the district, said Janak Bhattarai, Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
