URLABARI, MORANG: A motorcyclist died on the spot after getting rammed by a lorry in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-3 of Morang district along the Koshi Highway on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as local Uttsav Pokhrel (26).

The south-bound lorry with Indian registration no (NLO 1 AL 6063) collided with the motorcycle (Ko 28 Pa 6484) in Biratnagar, killing its rider last night, according to the Morang District Traffic Police Office (DTPO).

Meanwhile, police have impounded the lorry and launched the search operation for its driver who fled the scene immediately after the incident, Inspector Madan Giri at the DTPO said.
